Calling all explorers!

The Dallas Zoo will be open early for families and individuals to explore the Zoo without the stimulation of a typical day. The Zoo and its partners design sensory and autistic-friendly activities and fun for guests of all ages to enjoy nature, hands-on experiences, animal exhibits, and much more!

  • 8-11 a.m.
    Participants are welcome to stay all day.
  • Non-Members: $10 / Members: FREE!
    Pre-registration is required.
  • Explore the entire Zoo; Sensory Friendly Day activities held at Zoo North.
  • KultureCity sensory bags are available for use during your visit. The bags include noise canceling headphones, a fidget toy, a “feeling” card, and a KultureCity ID lanyard.
