Sensory Friendly Day is specially designed for individuals with autism and sensory needs.
Calling all explorers!
The Dallas Zoo will be open early for families and individuals to explore the Zoo without the stimulation of a typical day. The Zoo and its partners design sensory and autistic-friendly activities and fun for guests of all ages to enjoy nature, hands-on experiences, animal exhibits, and much more!

- 8-11 a.m.
Participants are welcome to stay all day. - Non-Members: $10 / Members: FREE!
Pre-registration is required. - Explore the entire Zoo; Sensory Friendly Day activities held at Zoo North.
- KultureCity sensory bags are available for use during your visit. The bags include noise canceling headphones, a fidget toy, a “feeling” card, and a KultureCity ID lanyard.
